Buxa.

Buxa is a beautiful forest in North Bengal and near the borders of Bhutan. It is about a 4 hours drive from Bagdogra airport towards Cooch Behar side. Not a very easy place to explore though because of long and difficult treks involved. However I braved the physical challenges to find the Wreathed Hornbill (read more on this in the Stories section), and the Oriental Dollarbird. The Buxa Fort, earlier used as a jail in British times, was another good attraction.
