Stories

I was lucky to witness one of the rarest encounters, as I did my last drive around in the evening at the vast carcass dumping ground of Jorbeed this past weekend. The Eastern Imperial Eagle, a local “bully”, had pinned down the Egyptian Vulture who was looking helpless while the Eagle continued to flaunt its power!
PS: Post this skirmish, the vulture was left with injured wings and could not fly. It would have surely been eaten by the street dogs. We called up the forest staff who came and rescued this vulture and it should soon be able to fly again.

On a funnier side I thought of 3 stories that can make sense in this whole encounter! Read along..
Story 1:

Eastern Imperial Eagle has fallen in love with EV - not Electric Vehicle, but the Egyptian Vulture! They meet secretly but are always looking around to check if anyone is watching them. Tired of hiding their “inter-species” love any more, the Eagle bravely declares his intent to marry the Vulture! The Vulture is scared and hesitant, but then the Eagle pulls her away to elope and fly away into a world of love and eternal happiness!

Story 2:

Eastern Imperial Eagle continues to intimidate the Egyptian Vulture. As the vulture looks around for help, the Eagle taunts her and looks around too while mockingly saying, “let me see who comes to help you!”. The Eagle then declares that “I have cut you, your feathers, to shape and brought you to ground level…now I am leaving!”. The scared and injured vulture grabs the powerful Eagle’s legs and pleads,
“Just finish me off…don’t leave me to these dogs in this state!”

Story 3:

Eastern Imperial Eagle, the mighty owner of East India Imperial Co, has just invaded the indigenous and peace loving king of India - also known as the Egyptian Vulture after his successful business deal in Egypt. The Eagle tries to show his power and bullies the Vulture. Convinced that he has ravaged the Vulture and his country enough, the Eagle announces his intent to withdraw. That is when the Vulture bounces back and grabs the Eagle, “Where are you going my friend, the party has just begun. It is my turn now to show you my strength…!”
