This is the story of the Indian Paradise Flycatcher couple (see the picture in actual sequence of left to right, top to bottom). It is a real sequence of 1 minute at Dhikala last summer (and all photos are in that sequence only over a minute).
The lady was sitting quietly on her own, a little sad. The male came towards her and possibly must have sensed her grief. He thought about it for a moment and looked around. Then jumped into the river flowing below and in full style with its wings outstretched and made a perfect dive, and came out immediately with a likely “food” gift for the lady and flew right back up as a true hero! Maybe its just my creative imagination (of the storyline) or maybe its true!
