Manila is a quaint little hill station built by the Englishmen and about 6-7 hours drive from Sattal. Apart from a famous temple, there are many birds to be found here. Like the Himalayan Prinia, Scaly-bellied Woodpecker, Mountain Scops Owl, Koklass Pheasant, Blue-capped Rock-thrush, Collared Owlet, Red-billed Blue Magpie, Grey Nightjar, Wedge-tailed Green-pigeon, Cheer Pheasant, Brown Wood Owl, Crimson Sunbird, Chestnut-headed Bee-eater, Black-eared Shrike-babbler, Maroon Oriole.
