// Raptorous Wings!

Stories

There is something fascinating about raptors sitting with their wings spread out…it somehow sets my imagination on fire! 🔥 ☺️

It looks like they are forming a lovely “heart shape” with their spread out and symmetrically curved wings. They often look like gladiators with “shields” on either side! They remind me of the airfoils (wings) of those powerful aeroplanes! Sometimes they have strong semblance to a bulky and well toned bodybuilder’s wings (lats)!

Surprisingly they also remind me of my uncles sitting (squatting) on the ground in villages in evening time with outstretched folded legs like the wings of these raptors! They bring back memories of school days with those large oversized bags we carried on our tiny shoulders when going to school!

Next time you see such a raptor, please do take a moment to imagine…☺️
