Satpura.
Satpura is a tiger reserve in Madhya Pradesh which is about 3 hours drive from Bhopal airport. It is one of the most scenic tiger reserves with rivers and lakes and meadows and hills! It takes a full day safari to cover all the main zones of this forest but often worth it. Tigers are not that common, though increasingly seen more nowadays. However, this is one of the best places to see bisons and sloth bears, and many birds too like Changeable Hawk Eagle and Mottled Wood Owl.
