Had a secret wish on my bucket list for long! Seeing the most elusive Snow Leopard which resides high up in the Himalayan mountains and very very difficult to see! In mid of January, I decided to come to Ladakh after having received the call previous night from my friend Lobzang who had been helping me track the Snow Leopard for more than a year! Definitely not advisable to go to Ladakah without two days of medicine in advance for acclimatising, but I had to take this chance. Went to the hills straight from the airport�Kwaited and searched in biting cold of about minus 10-15 degrees plus wind! It almost felt that I had frostbites on my feet and fingers (especially when photographing)! But at the end of it, when sun was about to set, down came that beauty of a ghost! Scanning the landscape, looking at the photographers below, licking its prey on the ground! It was absolutely all worth it!
